Where do we start
Greetings Family, Friends and colleagues,
So If you are reading this you probably know this has been an eventful week for M.
I will start from the top.....
For a couple months now M has been having headaches associated with some other symptoms such as weakness and numbness in her limbs. Over the last couple weeks the headache has gotten worse to the point that it doesn't go away and regular pain medications don't help.
Monday(1/28) She went in for an MRI as recommended by her doctor to start narrowing down the reasons why she might be having a headache.
Tuesday(1/29) The results came back from the MRI and they found that there was a 5cm tumor on her brain. I know, scary. So immediately we were in panic mode with thousands of questions and plenty of worries. Her Bozeman doctor set up a referral to Billings for talk to a neurologist and possible biopsy.
I think it goes without saying that anytime someone hears news of this magnitude it is quite shocking. Thankfully everybody has been so great and so supportive. We are lucky to have such great people in our lives!!
I am going to keep updating this blog as we get news and events happen. So if you want to keep up with M Rex and her beautiful brain, this is your place! We want to keep everyone updated but considering the scope of all the people on the "favorites" list it can take a while to update everyone by text, emails and such. So thanks to Trenton Harper, he suggested a blog. What a great way to keep everyone in the loop.
Thanks for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes!
Another update coming soon!
Matt
